Ok, call me a nerd. I love this book series! But don’t read this until you finish the first 3 books!

Genre: my fave, chunky fantasy.

The series protagonist, Sophie Foster, faces off against the Neverseen once more. With all the twists and turns of this series, it is really surprising that the characters start off running away to one of the black swan’s hideouts, Alluveterre.

This underground forest is one of the key locations in the book. As a mysterious plague affects the gnomes, Sophie takes it into her own hands to help protect her newest friends, a gnome named Calla.

With the time pressure of finding the cure, false appearances, and twists even Forkle could foresee, this is definitely one of my favorite books in the series! And I gotta say, you will never predict the ending!

And for you longtime readers, book 10 (technically book 12) is coming out in November (I think the 4th, but those tings are always slightly off).
