Sava Wallaert wants you to read his bio under the afternoon sun, bathed in its warm hazy light, while the slender aspen trees on the hill behind you quiver in the wind from the ocean. He wants you to truly THINK about what you read in this paper, in the truest and deepest meaning of the word, and see it not just as a fun school project, but as a scarce and quickly disappearing resource. In a world beginning to be dominated by Artificial Intelligence and the minds of adults who cannot think about anything outside of what TV show is new on Netflix, the words of kids are beginning to become lost in the breakneck pace of modern life. Sava, a longtime fan of the newspaper, is looking forward to helping shine light on the unseen creativity of young people by writing short stories, media reviews, and poems, and editing the work of other bright minds.

Winston Coady is an 8th grade student at the New School of San Francisco as well as an editor and serial author of the NewsCool Chronicle. In addition to reviewing and improving the works of other writers, he releases weekly chapters of the adventure serial A Fray of Four Fiefs as a sequel to Ember of the Fallen Kingdom. Coady is a passionate writer who enjoys all forms of writing, creative storytelling being one of his greatest hobbies. He also delights in reading, long-distance running, baking, studying mythology, and linguistics. His goals in life include becoming a successful fiction author and possibly running an ultra-marathon some day. He enjoys participating in the newspaper and working with our other wonderful members.

Felix Papanikolas is an eighth grade student working for the NewsCool Chronicle. As everyone knows, he will be leaving school next year and he wants to make this year the best, hoping to carry on the legacy of the newspaper. Felix wants to encourage the next gen of 7th and 8th graders to join the newspaper elective as some of our current staff will be leaving the school next year. Felix will be doing a number of things this year, including Phobias of the Week, animations, comics, and other things that may or may not be related at all. 

Pablo Masangcay Alvarez is in the 7th grade at the New School Of San Francisco that enjoys Roblox and drawing. He works in mixed media making very goofy articles such as the “lake chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg article”, and comics/stories “like the lore of Roblox”, with the Skibidi Master 67 On The Gyatt Saul and others that you will hopefully enjoy. He also works on the distribution team getting the article to you.

Sid is in seventh grade. He plays basketball for the New School team and is interested in drawing and the theater arts. He is so excited to share his interests and abilities with the NSSF community through articles and fun, interesting columns. I like Forsaken and sleeping.

Sarah is a 7th grader who works on the multimedia team for the newspaper. She can usually be found in her cave drawing in front of a blue light with her cat. She also really likes strawberries and has an extremely unhealthy addiction to Animal Crossing. 😔

Dario is a 7th grader and he is in his 13th year of life. He has been going to New School for 8 years. It is his first semester in the NewsCool Chronicle and he is very excited. His hobbies include playing video games, tennis and sleeping. He has two very annoying brothers and he has very close friends. Many of you readers might know him from being stalked from Ask The Expert and yet I still do not know who the previous expert is. 

Dean is a 13 year old current 7th grader at the New School of San Francisco. He is an expert foodie and also enjoys playing sports. This year he is excited to join the NCC staff team. Be ready to read some of his amazing articles about food.

Reid is a 7th grader at the New School of San Francisco. He is so excited to be a part of the NewsCool Chronicle team as a reporter, making articles for people to enjoy and learn. In his free time he loves to play soccer and he is a part of the new school basketball team.  And he loves to share his input on important topics.

Cypress is in 7th grade. He plays soccer and likes to share his input on important topics. He likes to play video games and is excited to write and share his ideas on topics he likes. He also will find where you live and go in your walls if you don’t read the NewsCool Chronicle.

Santino is a 13 year old 7th grader who lives in San Francisco, and goes to NSSF. It is his first semester on the newspaper, and he is very excited to start. He enjoys playing sports, video games, watching TV, playing Clash, listening to music, and sleeping. He also enjoys playing and hanging out with his friends.

Saul is a 7th grader at this school. He likes playing Roblox and visiting Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. His favorite games on Roblox are Forsaken and Die of Death. Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg is his favorite place in the world and he hopes to make articles about it soon. Oh by the way don’t check my basement.

My name is Angelo and I'm in 7th grade and I am 13 years old. I’m from El Salvador and I like to eat Pizza and Tacos, which is good food, and I like to drink Fanta. I like to play Roblox and my favorite games are Rivals, Grow a Garden, Slap Battle and Work at a Pizza Place which are good games to play if you are mad or sad.
