Pet of the week: Tom and Jerry

Welcome to the SECOND Pet of the Week!! This week I’m also writing about Tom and Jerry the birds.

Tom and Jerry are male Indian Ringneck parrots. They are 13 to 14 months old and their favorite foods are cherries and corn. They love to go on their owner’s hand and interact with them, and are very tame!

One bad habit that they have is they like to open their cage by themselves and escape. A fun fact about Tom and Jerry is they both know how to talk!!

Sarah is a 7th grader who works on the multimedia team for the newspaper. She can usually be found in her cave drawing in front of a blue light with her cat. She also really likes strawberries and has an extremely unhealthy addiction to Animal Crossing. 😔
