What do G8 students and teachers love about New School?

Today I’m sharing the magic of New School through students’ and teachers’ experiences at our amazing school. Here are some questions and answers I asked our 8th graders and teachers.

What is your favorite thing about New School?

“The people and the community are super kind.” -Syah G8

“My favorite thing about New School is that the teachers are really nice and I’ve known half of my grade since kindergarten and I have blackmail on them.” -Ellie G8

“My favorite thing about New School is the vibe and Ms. Jackson, Ms. Belkora, Mr. DeVries, and Ms. Eilbert.” -Nur G8

“The people, like my colleagues and students.” -Ms. Belkora G7 teacher

What is one of your best memories?

“I remember in kindergarten we were in a bathroom and we were talking, and then an anonymous (male) person walked in and we just started hanging out because we tried to kick him out, but he wouldn’t leave.” -Syah G8

“One of my best memories is at the old New School building, where an anonymous (male) person used to be my friend and my cat”. -Ellie G8

What will you miss most about New School? (this question is for 8th graders)
