1. Which middle school teacher would you want to pie?

Ms. Jackson: None!! But there are a couple of students who come to mind :) 

Mr. Lovang: I would love to pie Mr. DeVries because he’s a Vikings fan. Go Pack Go!

2. Yes or no: pineapple on pizza?

Ms. Turturro: NO

Ms. Eilbert: Yes!

3. What is your most embarrassing middle school moment?

Ms. Belkora: In 6th grade, I had dressed up really fancy for a dance, and when I was walking across the playground a seagull pooped on my shoulder.

Ms. Flores: I feel blessed that I can't remember a specific moment because I was chronically embarrassed in middle school. 

Ms. Eilbert: When I was setting up for the Valentine’s dance, my pants ripped. I had to wear a jacket around my waist the whole time.

4. What types of slang do your students talk to you in?

Ms. Flores: The TikTok Dubai chocolate matcha labubu slang

Mr. Lovang: What slang? Hmm… see questions 6–7. Get it?

5. What is the funniest thing a student has said/emailed to you?

Ms. Flores: I used to teach a movie called Princess Mononoke at my previous school. A student once emailed me a TikTok edit of a character from the movie...at 3AM.

Ms. Jackson: I've been called "mom" a time or two, does that count?

Mr. Lovang: A funny email I received from a MS student once asked if I owned Levi’s Jeans Co. 

6. Which middle school teacher do you think is most likely to become/be a diva?

Mr. Lovang: Ms. Morgan can become a diva, esp when the copier isn’t working 

Ms. Eilbert: Ms. Jackson is already a diva!

7. What was your dream job as a kid?

Ms. Belkora: Supreme court justice or an ambassador 

Ms. Turturro: My dream job was to be an English Teacher. Look at me now!

8. Name a time you felt second-hand embarrassed for a student.

Mr. Lovang: I felt second-hand embarrassment for Yohan, Pablo and Dax for falling into the water during our canoeing field trip last Spring.

Ms. Flores: Anytime anyone says "good boy" or "six seven." Embarrassing.

9. How do you eat an oreo?

Mr. Devries: Several at once

Ms. Flores: I don’t

10. Which middle school teacher is most likely to hug a cactus (because it needs a hug)?

Ms. Eilbert: Ms. Belkora is so nice, she would see that that cactus needs a hug.

Ms. Turturro: Awwwh! I bet Ms. Flores would hug a cactus.

11. Which teacher makes you laugh?

Mr. Devries: All of them!

Ms. Turturro: ​So many of them make me laugh! Ms. Morgan has an absurdly existential sense of humor that warms my ELA-teacher-heart.

12. Which middle school teacher has the most rizz?

Ms. Turturro: May I nominate... Mrs. Tu-Rizz-O? 

Mr. Lovang: I think Mr. DeVries’ hair gives him significantly more rizz than he already has
