Baking Contest Winners And Runner-Up

The winner of the sweet portion was 7th grader Jaiyanna Linares-Garcia with her delicious Chocolate Flan!

The winner of the savory portion was Lembas Bread by our own 7th grade Winston Coady (he didn’t judge but still ate).

Sweet runner-up were Rose-Apple Tartlets by kindergartner Xiomara and her mom Maria Leigh, Chocolate Chip Cookies by 6th grader Jack Toney, Chocolate Chip Strawberry Sponge Cake Hearts by 7th grader Ellie Dubasik, and a drink (not named but you can ask him) by 7th grader Sarper Feldstein!

Nur Schlenker

Nur is an 8th grader many readers will remember from Nur’s baking corner. She is a mole, fashionista, official Baker Of The Council (I just bring baked goods occasionally to student council meetings even though I am not on student council), and book Affectinado. They will most likely be writing about baked goods, good books, and anything else that picks her fancy.
